“DIGITAL REBIRTH: Rebuilding & Reimagining Creative Spaces & Expression”
We are delighted to announce Vera and Tinotenda from @incubatorzw (Incubator ZW) as one of the Pop Up Open call Winners.
Vera Maria Chisvo is a young funky jazz vocalist, satirist, guitarist and actress. She has a 5 piece band that she has been working with for over 5 years. She is the Founder and Director of Incubator ZW, a creative hub and the Community Manager at Moto Republik.
Tinotenda Nathan Bure is an avid reader of African literature and holder of a Postgraduate Diploma in Media and Communications. In 2017, he was appointed the student Brand Ambassador role in the Foreign Languages Department at the University of Zimbabwe. He is the Project(s) Manager at Incubator ZW. He is the founder of Mandisa Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization.
Their project, “Look, Listen and Feel” is a new performing arts project that seeks to document and exhibit the creative process or journey that an artist embarks on before delivering the final product. This project is born out of the desire to produce a participatory piece between the artist and the audience in order to build new forms of sharing and consuming art in its entirety.
